Have an interview tomorrow out in Oranmore and just hoping people can help me out a little. I'm getting a return trip from Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin to the Galway Tourist Office, arriving with about 90 mins to get to Oranmore Business Park for the interview. So a few questions:

    1. For anyone that's taken this trip before, do Citylink stop in Oranmore on the way? Or should I ask the driver when I get on?

    2. Is the Galway Tourist Office stop in the middle of Galway City? And would it cost much for a taxi from there to Oranmore? I'm aware I should've checked as to where the tourist office is first!

    3. Finally which bus stop should I be waiting at from Liffey Valley Shopping Centre - the one beside the cinema park or the one on the other end (Marks and Spencers side).

    Thanks!

The timetable for the stopping service operated by Citylink is located at:
    http://www.citylink.ie/assets/timetables/March10/Galway2Dublin.pdf

It shows that the bus does indeed stop at Oranmore on Station Road at the Shopping Centre and that it is not a request stop.

Therefore no need to go into Galway city centre at all. The tourist office is off Eyre Square in Galway for info.

The bus stop at Liffey Valley is the westbound stop on the N4 itself - not any of the stops in the shopping centre complex.

Brilliant, cheers. Stopping on Oranmore def saves me a lot of hassle

Just about the Liffey Valley stop, I'm only travelling by bus tomorrow so whereabouts exactly is that stop? I'll be getting off at the stop near Marks and will have to find this other stop

That depends on which bus you are travelling on.

It is the stop that the 25/a, 66/a/b and 67/a all stop at on their way out of town immediately after the M50 flyover.

I'll be getting a 66a - so am I right in thinking it's the stop I would normally get off at if I'm going to Liffey Valley itself, the stop with the bridge?

Where are you coming from OP? You need to be absolutely specific. If you are taking a 66a from Leixlip get off at the stop for Liffey Valley, and cross over the bridge to the bus stop on the far side of the dual carriageway.

I don't know how else I can put this.

Westbound citylink coaches stop at the first Dublin Bus stop serviced by outbound buses from the city on the N4 after the M50, which serves Liffey Valley and Kings Hospital School. It is the stop where there is a very large footbridge over the N4.

Sorry for any confusion. I'm coming from Leixlip tomorrow on the 66A. I take it then that I'm getting off at the Liffey Valley stop, going across the bridge and waiting at the stop I would usually use when I'm coming from Liffey Valley - would that be right?

Yes. Exactly. The westbound stop as I have said three times now!!!

Note that from the timetable Citylink also stop outside the Spa Hotel in Lucan on the main road.
