Solo Travellers Holiday Club

Hi. Would any other single or solo travellers like to get together to set up an informal travel / holidays club ?

Just so we can post details for trips we'd like to do, dates and where we are interested in going, and see if there are others out there interested in getting together.

I know in my own case there are some very unusual places I'd really love to go and see but none of my friends or family want to come. (The Middle East, China and Cuba being the main ones now).

So if anyone is interested go ahead and post here where you'd like to go and the dates and what kind of things you are wanting to do when there.

Why not sign up to something that exists already and has hundreds of thousands of people participating? It would be loads easier than trying to get your own community off the ground. CouchSurfing comes to mind. The discussion groups there are full with people posting about trips and others joining in.

I think it sounds good. Sure you could set something up on a Wordpress theme, put it in your sig and see if anyone bites.
