Don't know if anyone can help me but I am on my 3yr with a FAS ce scheme and am off sick for few weeks, I was involved in a car accident,4 weeks ago, not my fault but I am having some back trouble, with the help of physio I told my employers and FAS supervisor I would be out for at least 6weeks, I have sent in the certs as requested an am currently on injury benefit. My trouble is that I got a letter from my FAS supervisor to say they would replace me temporarily till i was fit for work, as I work with adults with special needs and they need 1:1. I understand this. This letter came only last Tuesday and on Friday I got a P45 in the post which I was not expecting. I'm totally lost and confused, don't know whats going on. Has anyone any input to this, hope I've posted in the right area, I am new to this...

If you have a letter stating that you will be replaced until you are fit for work, you should get you scheme place back when you are certified fit for it.

Do ce schemes work like that? i dont think they can take they can take someone temporarily to cover someone on a fas scheme. I think when you join a fas scheme you are their for a year

While I am not completely sure of the rules regarding CE schemes if the OP was sent a signed letter stating that they would be replaced temporarily while unfit for work,it would appear to me that when the time comes to return to the scheme all should be in order. If there is no place on the scheme for the op the letter will come into its own so to speak.
    So step 1 get well
Step 2 get final cert from gp and hand into scheme supervisor and see what happens,no point in worrying about it in the mean while.(imo)
