Digital Receiver Question

A quick question, I don't have the full details so apologies if what I am asking does not make sense as I am trying to explain what the mother said.

The aul pair have a mobile home down in Brittas Bay (Co. Wicklow) and one of the other people in the park has said to the mother that he is getting some satellite or so in, so that up to 8 other mobile homes can work off it and get their channels via that. I think he said to her that she needs to get a digital receiver and she could pick one up in Lidl or so.

Does this make sense? It is basically just to receive the RTE/BBC/UTV etc channels.

Where would I get one of these digital receivers and any recommendations?

    Cheers

    you need more info...

rte is not available on satellite (unless you pay sky for it)

any sat receiver should do (all bbc itv available)
