Joe Brolly a decent skin. Remember was up in Omagh once when Dublin played Derry and the fans gave him a bit of slagging outside the press box.
A bit wary about him backing the Dubs but the kid's okay. Any player who can blow kisses to the hill has a bit about him. He has a decent sense of humour which I like. ;)

i actually really like Joe Brolly, I think he is genuinely commited to his own ideas, and doesn't just spout crap for the sake of saying it.

I was pretty pissed off at his comments after the Monaghan Derry game last year (1st one) cos i felt both teams were at it and not just Monaghan but sure hes just supporting his own and thats another reason why i like him, he doesnt pull any punches.

plus hes pretty funny and winds spillane up something special which is worth his place on the panel alone.

Why do people get so worked up about the commentators?

It does not matter one little bit what these guys think or say. If you don't like them? Turn off the TV.

    I didn't say what I do, did I?

I don't watch the "analysis" as I don't care what these guys think or say. I can watch a game and make up my own mind, thanks.

Mind you, the standard of football is so poor, I tend to ignore most all games, it being a waste of a day to stay to watch some of the drivel we have seen ver the past few years.

Right, let's get something clear so early in the championship season here. People would be well advised to read our charter with regards to abuse of anybody whether they are players or pundits.

I don't want to spend all summer clearing up messy threads and issuing warnings so let's all play nice.

I think that he is a great pundit
