Cheap grinder for espresso?

Hi, have read all of the threads about grinders but am still confused as to whether there is such a thing as a cheap grinder suitable for use with an espresso machine?

I bought a cheap espresso machine and I'd love to try out freshly ground coffee but my budget would not stretch much above €60. Is it possible to buy a grinder for that price? I know your advice here for people on a budget is to buy a grinder and french press etc. but as I already have the machine any help? Thanks!

I'm afraid you won't get anything suitable that I know of for €60 unless you're lucky with a second hand one.

Thanks for the reply! From reading through posts the iberital mc2 pops up alot. At £100+ that's pretty pricey for me but do you think it's about the cheapest thing that'll to do the job?

Its worth spending the money on it.
I originally bought this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dualit-Burr-Coffee-Grinder-75002/dp/B000094U5T and it couldn't grind fine enough.

Check out Reactor's blog post on the Baratza grinders http://theotherblackstuff.ie/machines/baratza-grinders/ which you can pickup from coffeeangel.ie

Hmm... that's still pretty expensive after you add on postage, maybe I'll save up and treat myself later in the year. :o Thanks for the advice!

You can have my previous grinder for €25 if that's of any interest. It's no Rocky but it's a start.

Thanks for the offer Diarmuid, I reckon postage will add a fair chunk to anything I buy so might just save up until I can afford to splash out. Thanks though!
