PC will Not Recognise Router ?

Right first off i woke to the smell of smoke tis morning coming out of the router, my router is in my bed room with my main pc connected to it via the cable so anyway the nettopia router is f***ed now & i had a spare nettopia router and plugged it in i used this router up to last September no probs with it but the pc cant…

Right first off i woke to the smell of smoke tis morning coming out of the router, my router is in my bed room with my main pc connected to it via the cable so anyway the nettopia router is f***ed now & i had a spare nettopia router and plugged it in i used this router up to last September no probs with it but the pc cant recongnise the network i can use my laptop, ipod touch no probs but my pc is another story! any reason anybody else can think off i'd appreaciate it! also i still had the installment disk and reinstalled to no effect!
