Bosch d/washer problem

Hi, anyone have this experience before, or know what the potential solution is ? (other than buying a new appliance !)

D/washer cycle is taking about 3 hours, and there's frequently suds left in the base of the machine. Items are clean but there's seems to be no heat in the drying cycle i.e. items are cold (and generally dry) on completion of the cycle.

Have tried the regular, eco, and quick cycles but all with the same result.

Machine is 10 years old so I accept it may just be giving up the ghost but it's a specific problem that's just started happening so I'm hoping to determine if it's repairable before going to the expense and hassle of replacing it.

Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.

Thanks Irishbird - I can but hope my problem has the same easy and cheap solution !

Now all I've got to do is wait (2 days at this stage) for the d/w repair guy whose number I was given to call me back and come and see the machine.

Your e60 charge hardly included the callout charge as well did it ?

You could give G.Man who is a contributor here a call...

I'm fairly sure he'd travel to Naas....

hiya, a relay on the pcb blows on the bosch dishwashers from that era.The machine just sits waiting for the heater to come on but it never does
