SC/SC2 meetup in Dublin? What about may 30th week end?

    Hey lads!

    As it has been said on other threads previously, a meet up would be neat to get a little community starting here!

    I m personnaly in Dublin 8 but i can move around in the city (center or nearbyt would be prefered though, or near the stations if people come from nearby towns).

    Would anyone be interested?

    Where?

    I think may 30th is a good week end because it leaves us two weeks to get organised.

    I'd love to but exams are comin up so i'll have to pass. You'll also need somewhere with internet as the game doesn't have a LAN function. We should definetly get a community vent for starcraft players tho..

    Am sure it would be a idea to block book an gaming internet cafe overnight to have a SC2 night. Once the game is released proper multiplayer (8 FFA ) can be played.

    just read the news that the beta is shutting down on the 30th of this month. It should re-open a few weeks later, before the launch date to test the final phase of the game's development.

    anyway, i would gladly concider a meet up =D beer and starcraft.

    amazing combination!

    Yea, just read the same. We can have a BW LAN anyways. SC2 doesnt support LAN mode so far...but the idea was more to get to know people

    I wouldn't mind a pub meet up but again I have my exams :( Still tho if it's around the end of June I'd definetly go and I could bring a few other players aswell. I'll give you a game on bnet tonight if ur on :P

    well, the beta s gonna end on may 31st so i guess it s better to play it than meet that week end.
    End of june sounds therefore great, halfway between the end of the beta and the release :)
