Can anyone tell me how i can set Mp3 files as my alert tone and alarm? Is there an option to drag them into a folder on PC?

On root of SD card create the following folders

    \ringtones
    \notifications
    \alarms

they ARE case sensitive, so make sure they are all in lower case. You can use mp3 but I belive ogg is better. You may need to reboot phone befor eyou see the new alerts/tones etc.

I'm not sure if it's an SDK dependent thing (I'm running 2.1) but if you use the stock android my3 player, there's an option to select as song as your ringtone

EDIT: Sorry, saw OP wanted alert tones and alarm. Didn't know u could change them. Thanks Dingatron.
