The thing I am living with my boyfriend and 2 children together and receiving rent allowance as he lost his job, but things not being getting on well with my boyfriend for some considerable time now, so I am have decided to go separate ways. Just don't know how will survive alone with 2 small children, if I am moving out…

The thing I am living with my boyfriend and 2 children together and receiving rent allowance as he lost his job, but things not being getting on well with my boyfriend for some considerable time now, so I am have decided to go separate ways. Just don't know how will survive alone with 2 small children, if I am moving out can I apply for rent allowance if I am alone?and if yes I will need to get part time job is that correct? but from one hand it is difficult coz I will need nanny.
maybe i could apply for one parent allowance but I have to live separately at least 3 month to apply and besides as far as I know it takes 2-3 moth till getting real benefit, so it is 6 month all together...and I don't have such a money to wait so long...
please any advise....
