This is probably a stupid question but i just bought an amp off a guy, now i know an amp is supposed to be turned on with the sound on at the lowest but the sound is half way at the moment and im not sure where to turn the dials to get the lowest, is it the logical left to right motion or the other way round it starts off at -30 and goes -25, -20 etc, a stupid question i know, i thought id ask before blowing up the amp and speakers, im new to this....:o:o

Pretty sure that every single volume control I've ever encountered in nearly 25 years of playing with stereo equipment has had knobs that increase the volume by turning them clockwise mate - turn everything anticlockwise as far as it will go and you should be grand!

Don't worry, we all had to start somewhere!
