Sky+ stopped working

    My Sky+ has stopped working - when i press record etc i get a message in the middle of the screen saying 'Sky+ playback and recording are not available, contact the broadcaster for assistance' - anyone got any idea why this is the case?? it was previously working fine and i can view channels as normal. i'm in the D15 area. thanks to anyone who can help

    have you tried rebooting the box?

    try that first and then if the problem is still there you will have to ring them.. (they should be able to sort it out there and then.)

    john, tried turning it on/off but made no difference - is that what you mean by rebooting it?? thanks kj

    unplug it from the mains,

    leave for 30 seconds (ish) and plug it in again.

    it may take a min or 2 to start up again.
