Hello!

I'm starting this to see if there are any current GEM students from UCC around on the forums? It seems likely to me that i may be offered a place in cork for GEM and since i have no knowledge of the course or the city and university i was hoping i could find someone with a bit of experience about the place to ask a few questions??

I'm going to be attending UCC GEM this fall. I don't obviously know too much in the way of answering questions though...

From my limited knowledge I know UCC have a recently built really modern health science building located just outside of the main campus in Brookfield, it would be worth a trip to Cork to check it out, the main teaching hospital is just 10 minutes from UCC.

From a post on nmm, UCC GEM is call case based, whereby didactic lectures form the core of the course.
