Hey, just wonderin what the timetable for the first year of the IT course is

Also, is it more text-based, or practical, and do you get much homework?

    Cheers!

Have 3 timetables attached there, all titled. Don't have 1st Semester Group 2 timetable but it's roughly the same.

Answer the rest of your questions:

Also, is it more text-based, or practical,

About half and half I'd estimate, lke lectures are basically text-based while labs are all pratical, and then the tutorials vary.

and do you get much homework?

Basically just the CA's, but you need to practice the likes of Java, etc... I've managed since February to have a job (up to 20 hours a week) and do all my college work, etc... while still having a good social life. All very doable. After the first week you'll realise there's lectures that you don't really need to attend.
