Is it possible to store an Excel Spreadsheet on my iPhone (3GS), taking it from one PC to another?
    If so, how???

http://docs.google.com is the best I can suggest I'm afraid. I've tried most of the document apps, and most are only good if you're using the same few PCs over and over.

I recommend Google Docs. Even if you don't actually use it for editing documents then you can just upload files and get them from anywhere.

Dropbox might be what you need

Recommending Dropbox too, it's free and excellent but doesn't include any ability to edit. Future versions will have an 'export' facility to supported applications.

Quickoffice is ok too. If your PC and iPhone are on the same network then the files can be transferred via wifi from any browser to the iPhone. You can edit away and transfer back when ready.

Docs-to-go which has been around since Palm Pilot days has similar functionality and a premium version can support attachments, so you could email the file and edit it on your iPhone, and email back to the PC when needed.

    Cheers

    Hi

    +1 for Dropbox

I use it for something similar to what you want to do, where I carry round PDFs to read.

Heres the link: https://www.dropbox.com/ and you can download the app from the App Store.

In fact if you have the two computers connected to the internet you wouldn't even have to use the iPhone.
