Is he right to say get up off your arse and "Get out there" and get work, and be more positive about the current recession? Its ok for him, he is worth a fortune! Very unfair, and frustrating statement to make, I believe.

    Whats your views?

He's of the opinion that it worked for him so it can work for everyone.
And also, people like him who blow there own trumpets are prone to exagerrating.
He's a pain in the ass, your man who used to be on prime time is cool though

He's beginning to piss all over my chips. I'm sick of the sight and sound of him.

Well if he could do it by his own graft why did he need the scrappage scheme? The only profits form the car industry in this country go into the likes of his pockets.

God this man gets more tedious by the minute.

The second i saw his name mentioned here, i knew he'd be on the late late, banging on about how we're a nation of crybabies who should get out there and work for nothing in order to get experience...........blah blah blah.

he's right that in a way that the country is how it was back in the 80's and people had to emigrate and all that jazz. true... I was victim of it myself when my parents had to move away, earn money and then return to Ireland. but fact is that it's not the 80's any more. surely 2 decades on.... there has/should be a solution not just the constant comparison to how we were way back then.
