Probably the most unlikeable team in Europe, no surprise really.

Glasgow getting shafted by Clancy.

That was never crossing FFS, Hook just bought the dummy run.

The entire set of officials are having a bloody nightmare.

Ospreys should be far more ahead with this penalty count.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭Risteard

Most of the penalties are in their own half though.

Charvis apparently thinks it was definitely crossing and that the touch judge made an excellent call on the Williams try.

Great lets replace POB with Charvis.

Semi final time for the ML and we employ joke refs yet again, where's Lewis, Rollaind, Owens?

Dire stuff so far - glad I didn't take Paddy Power more than 21.5 points in the first half. :D

17-5 to Ospreys with a great try by James Hook - Glasgow's goose well and truly cooked. :D

  • 20-5 final score.

    Ospreys final

And that's that. 20-5 Ospreys, both teams (More so "Lets not pass properly" Glasgow) looked a bit ****e to be honest.

So the final will be Ospreys vs Munster at the Liberty or Leinster vs Ospreys at the RDS.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,549 ✭✭✭✭Judgement Day

    The latter I fear. :(

Has the Liberty Stadium ever been full for a rugby match?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,076 ✭✭✭Digifriendly

Think I heard crowd figure as 7,000 which is very poor indeed. Doubtful even if Munster win that there would be a full house for the final there. At least if Leinster win there will be a decent crowd at RDS. What's wrong with Welsh rugby and spectator numbers? Remember as a boy hearing of crowds of 15,000-20,000 for Pontypool vs Cardiff!
As for the match itself Ospreys deserved to win but far too much spilled ball and mistakes to call it a good match.

Regionalisation has been a very hard sell to the fans in Wales. Still good crowds at the semi-pro games though.

    Very true.

Nearly all the regions' home ML games are FTA between BBC2 Wales and S4C which doesn't help crowds either.

Except for the Dragons, the regions' stadiums are far too big which kills the atmosphere. On the other hand, Rodney Parade is normally buzzing.

Ever been to Rodney Parade thomond? It's a bit of a dump and you cant see the pitch in a few spots around the ground but the fans really do get in behind the team.
