hotmail on iphone 3gs

since i got the iphone in january i was able to send receive mails through the mail app. now for some reason i cant access my mails. i ohoned 02 and they said it was because you have to pay to use hotmail on iphone, that it should never have worked. i networked reset my phone and when i try set up the hotmail again it ays…

i networked reset my phone and when i try set up the hotmail again it ays the username or password for pop3.live.com is incorrect.
anyone any insight on this?
