MASSIVE Soundcloud Problem

Right, I have an mp3 of a set - LAME encoded, will play at everything I throw it at. About 30 minutes long.

I upload it to soundcloud. It renders the waveform, telling me its only 8 minutes - but that its still a 56mb file.

Now when I DOWNLOAD it from the soundcloud link, I get a 56mb file thats half an hour long but which cuts out after about 8 minutes.

This is really bizarre and has apparently happened with my last three sets (and cost me a gig) but didn't happen before.

http://soundcloud.com/eudaimonia (promo set is the suspect one, there's a half hour set below it which is perfect which makes it even more boggling)

    Any thoughts?

I've had problems with soundcloud too, different though. What solved it for me was using the CloudPost desktop uploader, maybe that'll help?

+1 I've found IE better for that job, and that job alone

don't get the whole soundcloud thing, you pay to upload your mixes ? the site in my sig is 100% free, no limits on uploads or downloads

Sent off a detailed report to the team but not a sausage back.

Right, copped when VLC mysteriously stopped playing another set that something was up.

Turns out that someone or something is corrupting my mp3s... Could be something weird to do with my LAME.dll or maybe the USB stick I was using to transfer it to my ''internet computer'' (say in best Alan Partridge voice)

Managed to get the infamous set up anyway!

You kind of grow with it. You're given about two hours, and limited (but still generous given their free) distribution channels. Its designed more for tunes and demos then sets, but it really is top notch in that you can add on necessary features as you get bigger (and hopefully more successful).
