Limericks Secret Bus Stop?

Roughly halfway between Collins Pub and the Motor Tax Office in Dooradoyle there is what seems to be just an entrance to a Housing Estate that has crowds of People loitering in it.

There no clue as to why as there is:
    • No Bus Stop Sign
    • No Shelter
    • No Timetable
    • No place for a Bus to pull in to avoid traffic build up

    - Yet there is often 10-15 People standing in the rain and what looks suspiciously like normal City Buses seem to pick them up?

    Is it a secret Society?
    Is it free?
    Where do these Buses go?
    Can I get one?
    When do they arrive?
Is it just Private Buses taking People to Factories?

Its all very strange I tells ya...... Hopefully someone on here can explain :o

Doubt it is an official bus stop, but as you have said, the regular buses do stop there on a daily basis and they just block the lane when they pull in there.

its a regular bus stop without all the above as far as i know.. There used to be a stop a little further up but when the council was doing work the stop was moved to where it is now.. Was meant to be temporary of course.. This is what a driver told me back then..

Its 30 seconds from the County Council Offices and the whole road was resurfaced and re-curbed (kerbed? SP) about 18 months ago - yet they could plan for 8 feet for a Bus to pull in either there or outside Garryowen RFC.

Those absolute Muppets couldn't plan Sand castles on a Beach, in July, with assistance from random helpful Children.
