    Hi!!!

We, The Paul K band, are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic communicative person to take hold of our band and run with it!!! Knowledge of the Irish Music Industry would be good, but not essential. A willingness to learn and good business acumen would be better!!! we are getting busy (thankfully!!), and cant do everything ourselves. So if you are up for it, or if you know someone who is up for it. Drop us a line here or see www.thepaulkband.com for more details.

    Regards,

    P

I'm wondering, what are you expecting a Manager to do for you? You're getting work for the band yourselves, so doing pretty ok on that front.

Reason I ask is because every band seems to cry Manager at the earliest opportunity like it's some kind of passport to some magical place. Also, by expanding on what your expectations are it can only help your search so I don't think the thread is in danger of being dragged off topic (hopefully).

    Hi,

Firstly, thank you for the reply. We are expecting someone who will be an Ambassador for us, an agent/manager who will take on the mantle of picking up the phone, promoting The Paul K band, establishing a rapport with venue owners in order to give The Paul K band a shot, establishing a connection with other managers of other Bands in order to get decent Support slots for The Paul K band and basically mentioning The Paul K Band so many times to so many people that the name becomes ingrained in peoples minds......no but seriously, there is nothing worse than a member of a band trying to get gigs for themselves.. we have been at this game long enough to know it smacks of unprofessionalism.

The person taking on the Job would obviously need to come see us live, and like us.....a lot. One cannot sell a product well if they dont like it themselves!!!!
    Paul
