I bought an unlocked htc hero on ebay, I got this today and I am not to sre of this handset is unlocked or not (newbie to htc) I inserted my simcard and it asked me for a network unlock pin.

I basically have 2 options, the unlock code and an emergency call.

What should I do?? Pls hlp me:(

Am guessing it's not unlocked - shouldn't be asking for a network unlock code.

Send it back and demand a refund as it clearly doesn't match what was described.

best thing is to take it up with ebay's resolution center as quickly as you can

Well I requested to return this item.

Waiting now to hear from the seller. Have never experience this type of business on ebay before.

you should be ok - if the seller refuses you can open a dispute and since it's locked you will win :)
