My clubs got nicked and they weren't isured so I need to replace them all.

Where's the best place to buy an entire set?

Gutted for you. Had you much expensive gear?

    Online you could try: http://golfstoreeurope.com
They're based up the north & free delivery when you spend x amount too.

Mikey Horan in Birr always has a great selection of new & used. Good driving
    range too to test everything.

I'm not sure if you are a member of a club but if you are and have paid your sub you are insured with Golfsure.

In our club insurance is an optional extra with membership. I'm sure this is the case in a quite a lot of clubs.

I'm pretty sure I got an e-mail from my club a few weeks ago offering optional insurance.

I remember laughing to myself what a money racket it was as I threw it in the bin.

I had reasonably expensive gear. Cobra woods and hybrid. Mizuno MX23 irons. Expensive wedges and putter though. 3 Cleveland CG12 wedges and a Scotty Cameron Newport Putter. Priced it all up new in McGirks and it comes to about €1500.

Depends on when and where they were stolen, I'd say give it a week or so and then have a look on ebay and adverts .ie and pick up a local copy of "rob and sell" ahem I mean "buy and sell" and you'll almost certainly find your clubs again.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Sometimes I wish some-one would nick my clubs by the way I play, but when you see the cost some people put into the game, the thieves deserve all the bad luck that comes their way.

That was posted in an attempt at humour and the poster has since apologised.

Would club insurance be expensive alongside membership?
    Where would coverage apply?

Keep an eye on the "rob and sell" .

A mate of mine read an advert in "Rob and Sell" ,Callaway x20 irons , titleist d909 driver , 4 wedges , odyssey putter , bag , balls , 10 gloves E200 all in ,

He rang up and arranged to meet the lad in Blanch Center carpark , An absolute skanger turns up said he was giving up the game and was selling everything ........ The pal took 1 look in the bag and at the clubs , there was a GPS range finder in the glove pocket and prov 1's to beat the band .......

The pal then thanked the lad for turning up and informed him he had no interest in buying robbed clubs .. Skanger not to be dettered then offers the whole lot for E100 ..

The skanger then got all huffy when my pal wouldn't buy the set .. It's bad enough getting all your gear robbed to to think some cnut is selling it for half nothing is a fooking insult ..

Time and place for humor and someone who just got his clubs robbed is not the time.
