i own both consoles ,im not a fanboy of either.i just cant decide which i like best.were as the ps3 is fantastic for media i feel the xbox is better for seemless online gaming.vote and let me know what you think is better if either.

I don't see why people like the live so much i do have both i am getting pissed off with getting kicked and finding new host, Reach is a nightmare but thats only a beta so it can get better fast. The ps3 allow developers to try a better way if they want but most multi platform games just use a similar setup to live on their ps3 version when they have to use it on the 360.

i have never got disconnected or kicked from a game of killzone 2 or any other ps3 game that had the sense to make its own better system. you also could tell a lot of stuff about the games that are being hosted in killzone the maps that are on and what changes if any such as disabled weapons.

i would like the cross game chat, party stuff and the ability to enter friends games easily from the xmb while those are biggish things it not a big difference and i would rather have the ps3 without those than 360 with.

i will be playing ps3 for the next long while as i got FF13 and ordered Red Dead redemption was on call of duty and reach on 360 before this but i'm pissed off with assholes on live.

if you own both then why are you asking? this is a pointless thread that will surely end up in people screaming fanboy at each other! i think xbox is better but with bluray and certain exclusives the ps3 is pulling back into the race for me!

I don't see why there should be any argument, this thread is for those that own both. If you own both then you clearly award merits to both and therefore should be no reason for "PS3 sucks because" and "Xbox ftw over the crap PS3". It's pointless.

As an owner of both consoles I can say I only buy PS3 exclusives for the PS3, everything else I buy on 360. Why? Simple really, I've had the 360 longer and I've grown accustomed to how it works, I much prefer the controller (not alone on that one) and the rare time I go online I have far more friends that are Xbox owners than PS3.

That being said, when it comes to playing the afformentioned PS3 exclusives, it does impress me visually and I often sway towards the PS3 more, God Of War III nearly being the final nail in that coffin. Also, the quiter PS3 serves much better as a DVD player and of course there's Blu Ray.

Basically, put a gun to my head and I'd say Xbox but to be honest, both consoles combine together to make the ultimate gaming and media resource.

I prefer the 360 controller and the 360. That said if i'm watching a film i'll always choose the PS3.

I made the mistake of going for a 360 as my crappy internet connection is not good enough to play online, so I reckon Im probably losing out on a fairly big aspect of the 360. Should'av gone for the PS3

I really prefer the Xbox for games that are released on both consoles as I like the controller a lot better. However most PS3 exclusive games are way better than the Xbox exclusives though.

I prefer the 360 controller so I use that for games. I like their exclusives better (Gears, Fable etc); although I don't care for online play and don't have a gold account. I don't play online on PS3 either :P

You can't go wrong with either console; there are fantastic exclusives and non-exclusive games on both.
