NEW YORK CITY - Members of the New York City Police Department's bomb squad were in Union Square tonight, investigating reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area, according to a report by the New York Daily News.

Thursday night's bomb scare is the 4th since Pakistani-born Faisal Shazad allegedly tried to rig a car bomb to blow up in Times Square two weeks ago, the report said.

The vehicle apparently contained two gas cans, according to the report, but police officials did not immediately confirm that detail.
So apparently this is the 4th dud in a month. Either they're playing wolf or theyre getting really bad at this.

How long before central NY becomes like Belfast city centre in the bad old days with gates for car entry and police manning them to allow cars in.

Sometimes I wonder if there is a CEO of some weapons company that sees the value of his shares drop so to boost the price again they come up with something like this. Scare the bejesus out of everyone again, the government then start to buy more weapons, people start to buy more weapons and the CEO just sits back and watches his stock price go up and up. :D Don't get me started on the no liquids ban on aeroplanes as well, I reckon O'Leary was behind that.:D

Hardly false flaggery. If they wanted to do that they'd have put explosives in the car, no?

I have to say, a lot of Americans are missing the point of this counter-terrorism business. If you go panicking every time someone sneezes, you may as well just pack yourself in bubble wrap and never leave the house.
