Friends, Neighbours, Relatives...... On Boards?

    So AH, is your OH a poster on Boards? Or perhaps your mother or nextdoor neighbour? Perhaps they are but they don't know you are a poster?

    Only one friend of mine knows i'm on boards but he's only a lurker. Think he's only ever made about 3 posts. He does however like embarrasing me about stupid posts i made when i was drunk.:rolleyes:

    I've found one of my friends on here. They have a photo up of themselves. But i don't think they know who i am. I prefere being unknown :cool:


    EDIT: Actually,i've wondered this in the past. Has anyone ever gone to a boards beers or meet up, only to come face to face with another user they know in real life and didn't realise?
    Things could get kinda awkward depending on who it was :pac:

    Two people I went to college with are on boards, I don't know their usernames and they don't know mine. Boards has come up in conversation a few times but no-one was willing to divulge who they are on here. That's why I love the internets!

    One mate of mine has an account here but he only ever really posted in one forum. Think he lurks now as he hasn't posted in nearly a year but apparently he was last active about a week ago.

    I think he did mention something about something I'd posted a while back.

    which I imagine is the norm for many boards users + not forgeting msn .

    What I hate about facebook (when I do go in there ) is how when you click on a link it takes you to somplace else and you get the fed up all you wanna do is log out , and I do to :p

    Have a mate on here, was pretty easy to work out his user name, I havent confessed I have an account, he only posts in one forum. My bro is on here to but I dont keep tabs on him!!

    Deffo prefer to be unknown, you cant always say what you think in 'real life' but can say what ya want here :pac:

    Nearly had a hear attack but yer man is cool, pretty sure my brother has been checking my posts too.
