    Number of sites are reporting that NBC have pulled the plug on the joint longest running show on television.

    From ew.
    Now this is what I call a Law & Order twist: NBC is declining to comment on a Deadline report claiming the network has opted to not to renew the long-running procedural for what would have been a record-breaking 21st season. If true, it means Dick Wolf will have to settle for simply tying Gunsmoke‘s record as TV’s longest-running drama series. “It’s a fluid situation,” says a source close to the talks. “It’s not a done deal. It’s possible this is just a negotiations tactic.” Developing…

    yeah big meh from me, as long as svu and uk sticks around its all good.

    (didnt we used to have a special renewal/cancelled shows thread?, where'd that go ?)





    (is up at 4am waiting to get the supernatural finale, longest wait ever!!)

    Well im gutted, didnt they just cancel Criminal intent about a month ago? so only SVU is left?

    The latest season of "Criminal Intent" is airing now in the US - where did you read that it was cancelled?

    L&O:CI is still running afaik. Admittedly it's not the same anymore without Goren,Eames etc. I like Goldblum but there was enough quirky cops on tv already,Goren being particularly brilliant.

    Wow, I never really got into the show but it was great to watch every now and then, I didn't even know it was under threat of cancellation. 4000 is a lot to put out of work.

    20 Season is too long. But why replace it with a remake of a classic?
