    Is a load of cack...

The search function is so basic that people can add in words like: m3 m5 audi tt skyline golf passat into their ads when selling their Fiat Punto and whoever is actually searching for an M3 will come across their piece of sh!t at the top of the list

what do you want for €3, Personally i thinks its the business as someone who spends €,000 ever year advertising with a magazine which goes on sale ever thursday, 12-15 months ago we got a letter from they about how they has to increase the cost of advertising around the same time as they put up the price up to €4, now they are phoning me twice a week looking for me to place add's and have dropped there pricing big time,

    It's not the business though...

I'm looking for a certain type of car, I don't want to be shown a type R civic when I'm looking for a Golf

It would be easy to fix this too

I found it infinitely better than carzone when I was looking for my 156. I could only find an odd one on carzone with the spec i wanted but I came across a good few on donedeal. You just have to go to the brand you are looking for and search the recent ads. I was really happy with it.

    complain with your feet and use other car classified websites;

    www.adverts.ie
    carzone
    autotrader
    etc.

Probably a wrong choice of words, I have noticed your issue as well, when serching for a navara you will get results with L200, land cruisers, rangers D-max's etc

There's a lot of fυcktards on that site. Do they really think that someone lookin for an M3, RX8 etc. is gonna want to buy their shitbox? Even if I did want a cheap car I'd purposely avoid any of the ones that put that crap at the end of their ad.

I don't think they have their categories sorted properly. If you run a search and if you get say 5 pages, if you click "next" instead of "2" the results you get sometimes have nothing to do with your search.

You should only be allowed put in tags that relate to whatever car you're advertising, not "similar" or totally different cars.

With that said, 2 months for €3 is brilliant.

Put a car for sale on it that is priced well and if it doesn't go then say it's a load of cack. FFS its a service for €3 that had lots of traffic

Yes the search function could do with a bit of tidying but everything on that site is priced to sell.. Not like some of the dreamers on Carzone!!(of course there are dreamers on donedeal)

I stuck my car up there and within an hour had responses already.. and it was gone in a few days.. Winner

If you want to search for a BMW, go into the BMW category before typing in your specific search requirements. It gets rid of a lot of the crap

And I dont want to be shown Golfs when looking at Type R's ;):D.
Despite that flaw though it is probably still the best site around at the moment for selling your car. Mate of mine had people ringing within a few minutes of putting an ad up.
I think someone over on DTD emailed DoneDeal about the search function a few weeks back and they said they're workin on improving it. Time will tell i guess.
