With straight barley you have a great energy source but falling down a bit on the protein side of things. General recommendation is a 16% protein ration forweanlings with barley alone being in and around 10-11%. Maybe try and add in some soya bean meal, its around 48-50% crude protein so not a lot needed to bring up the overall diet. Ya mite be able to buy 25kg bags in your local co-op

soya in jan was dearer per unit of protein than rapeseed meal, now its gone the other way, soya is alot sweeter than rape so easier to feed. dont ask me prices specifically but rape is around 190 i think and soya 360ish?? but should work out per unit of protein to compare

am currently trying a bulk mix on the calves, its wheat, soya hulls, maize, rolled barley and rape seed. havent tried it before but calves seem to be chomping thru it

Would not be too concerned about fibre with the levels ya are feeding while weanlings are at grass. Should enough fibre from the daily grass intake.
If ya are close to a weigh bridge mite be worth putting 3 or 4 in a trailor and weighing them and then again in a month to get an idea how they are preforming.
