Mount Leinster - Vertical or Horizontal Polarization ?

    Hi folks,

I'm in Athy, Kildare and have been receiving the test DTT signal loud and clear for over a year now. When I originally set up my loft aerial I opted for a Televes DAT75 Aerial and pointed towards Mount Leinster using a vertical polarization. I went with vertical polarization because I read and reviewed the DTT map here " http://www.freesat.ie/index.php?cat=Terrestrial_Aerials "

However while browsing around today I came across several sites with DTT maps showing Mount Leinster required horizontal polarization " http://tvtrade.ie/inf/13_26/Technical-Information,Aerials-digital "

Now I believe if it ain't broke don't fix and I'm getting a 100% level with 80% quality level so I'm happy with the setup. But for the purist in me what is the correct polarization ?
