Vonage Modem

    Someone wants me to set up a Vonage modem (American Phone Service) with my computer here in Ireland. I'm connecting it through a ethernet cable and they said to create a network bridge with my current connection. My current connection is a 3 usb modem though. The purpose of this whole exercise is so we can plug a phone into the modem and make calls to America or something.

    I don't think any of this is possible or is going to work, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

    P.S. I personally don't see whats wrong with Skype! :pac:

    not sure if this is too late -
    vonage modem connection -
    broadband modem/router -> vonage ->phone handset
    it can be used anywhere in the world with internet.

    if you are using 3 dongle, yes bridge the connection to share the internet between your pc and vonage.
    i remember a good tutorial on Microsoft website about setup of internt sharing
