Cost of a wedding

    Can any one give me a rough cost of the following items

    Church
    Priest
    Flowers
    Photographer
    Car
    Dress
    Groom + grooms men
    Honeymoon
    Cake
    Bridesmaid dress (2 or 3)
    Invitations
    Band

    Am I missing anything?
    I'm trying to do up a budget as I need to start saving!

    Budget is in around €30k and we have a price for the reception. Wedding will be in the mid lands next july

    1. Our priest reluctanly took €150 off us for the church coffers.
    2. Two ladies down the road did our flowers and refused to take anything, I think we'll give them a voucher for €100 at least.
    3. My OH's uncle and cousin who are keen amatuer photographers did our photos, it was really nice and informal, they would've been there anyway and cost to us was a couple of bottles of whiskey or gin.
    4. Another uncle, and two friends who have nice cars and were coming anyway provided us with the cars. Again, no cost.
    5. Wedding dress was €1,100.
    6. Hire of 8 suits at €75 a pop was €600
    7. DIY Honeymoon in Italy for a week was around €1,500
    8. Cake was made by another friend who was refusing to take anything but I threw €50 on her kitchen counter and ran out the door before she could give it back to me.
    9. Bridesmaid dresses from RK Bridal in New York were about €65 a pop. Identical dresses in Swords were €180 each!!!
    10. Invitations the OH made and came to about €40. Postage about €60.
    11. Band and DJ was €1,800.

    Are you missing music/choir in the church? Again, I'd two friends who would've been invited anyway do the music for me in church. Minimal cost.

    Are you buying your own wine or is it included with the hotel's deal?

    Its the nitty things but here are a few that you could consider:
    Booklets for church
    Accessories for bride and bridesmaids
    Shoes for bride and bridesmaid
    Hair and makeup
    Video?
    Flower girl/page boy?
    Decorations
    Pre marriage course €150
    Marriage registrar €150
    Wedding rings

    Just a few off the top of the head and of course are not all compulsery!
