    Folks,
One of my loved one is considering for psychotherapy. She is fine most of the time, but she gets very strong emotions on and off i.e. lack of confidence, unworthiness, jealousy, loneliness, low self esteem and extreme anger . She has had very bad child hood experiences. She is unhappy most of the time deep inside.
Does psychotherapy really works on above? Can you really get rid of all these debilitating emotions? I am not sure though you can.
    Please advice.

Sorry leom, this forum can't used for providing advice of this nature. Please take a look at some of the stickys on the main page of the forum, hopefully there may be something there of use.
