rang the one last week about the 26 month old red and white and he was gone would have suited me fine and was only 1100 euro

Is this just to run with the heifers or for the herd?? Are you rearing the bull calves??

I have to say that i feel the national herd has lost a bit by turning its back on the BF. A great all round animal and the quality of bullocks in the country is the worse for it

to run with the herd and then go with heifers , need to get rid of the skeleton type animals i have and put a bit of beefiness back in to them

like wise with the shorthorn, I remember the roan shorthorns my late parents had, when i tried to source them after getting fed up of the holstein they just were not available, went to france instead for the montys.
