Any latest Nvidia (8xxx/9xxxx/2xx), ATI (3xxx/4xxx/5xxx) at around the 50 euro mark. I assume you want to stream some HD videos off your computer or something like that?

    Thanks.

Will want to show pics and web content on the HD TV as well.
I was talking to someone who said that they use a DVI to HDMI cable for this and it's just like using a monitor.

yep, most HDTV's would have the HDMI input, so it's just a case of picking up an adaptor. Some graphics card wouldnt have this packaged, but rather a DVI to VGA adaptor.

This would do you perfect. It's got VGA, DVI and HDMI output. So it would be a simple case of just buying a HDMI lead and connecting straight to the TV without the need for an adaptor :D It could stream HD videos from your PC or whatever else you wish, as well as the carry the sound from the PC straight to your HDTV

Would there any benefit in going HDMI to HDMI as the card has an HDMI output?

generally speaking no. but the audio doesnt carry over on DVI :o

So the only benefit HDMI to HDMI has is it carries Audio as well?
