Ridiculous price differences

In work today in the Fruit and Veg, I noticed this massive difference.

Cut swede/turnip, now I mean just slice in half and a wrapper around it €1.49

Then, I said to myself, 'hold on how much is a whole swede?'.

    Swede/turnip €0.79.

Further more on the investigating path, I notice this Chopped onion €1.79. While a whole Onion per kilo €1.19.

Are people afraid of food surplus or afraid of knifes?

No wonder peoples shopping bills are threw the roof if there buying this sort of stuff.

Some people are idiots. And I would hazard a guess and say they are the same fools that moan about a varying arrange of subjects from head shops to the price of a pint.

In fairness some swedes are more expensive than others due to their suppleness and visual attractiveness. Just ask Tiger how much this once cost/will cost him.

I was debating on or in tbh, and it seemed an even split between the two in terms of where veggies grow.

Look at us, talking agriculture at nearly 3am. If we were proper farmers we'd be getting up to feed the chickens soon.

    Proper farmers don't have chickens.

On the subject of farms and farmers. Is the outside of Dublin, like a big giant farm?
