    We're looking to move house but with so little property selling at the moment, was advised by an estate agent to try for a house swap instead so here goes;

    Living in a 4bed semi in Inse Bay, Laytown, 10 minute walk to beach. Train station, shops, school, pubs, church all within walking distance, 10min drive to M1. Lovely estate, lots of green area. Good sized landscaped gardens. New kitchen fitted 6mths ago, Approx 1300sq ft. Excellent condition.

    Looking for a detached house with good sized garden iwithin commuting distance to Dublin 4, all areas considered

    Hmm, maybe try some dedicated websites like the following:

    www.swaplocation.com/ie/
    www.propertyswap.ie

    Have a lovely cosy 3 bedroomed semi detached family home in Maynllth, near train station and all amenities. Looking for a home in Spiddal/Inverin/Furbo. SOUTH CONNEMARA

    Back in 2010 I think only the person buying the higher value property had to pay duty on the difference between the prices.

    Now both sides are expected to pay stamp duty on the full value of their houses.

    Still though, Barna, Furbo, Spiddal, Inverin... Worth looking at all the options to live there.
