    Hi,

Can anybody enlighten me? I am travelling to USA, need to charge a Irish electric wheelchair battery whilst there. I'm looking for a 6400V to 500W step up/down convertor to suit my battery charger.

Has anybody used a convertor and where can I purchase one?

That voltage number (6400V) you quote doesn't make sense, how do you charge the battery at the moment - presumably you plug the unit into a domestic wall socket - right?
