unsubscribing from sky

Simple question, what is the easiest way to unsubscribe from sky tv...i mean without having to listen to them waffling over the phone.

Cancel direct debit and write to them confirmation of the date you wish to end your term with them?
(register the letter as proof sent)

Ring them up and ask can you subscribe to the CP channel.

Write to Sky Cancellations Dept, PO Box 43,Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 7DD, Scotland, indicating why and what you want to do.
They will cancel your sub in 12 days like they did to me yesterday. Seems to be flavour of the month !

i rang them up
told them i did not have the readies to pay anymore
and they cut me loose
they are in it for the money and all they can get
so they are not offering any cheaper version
they will before the end of this year, as we have not seen the worst yet
