wat is it about cork that has impressed so much?? dont get me wrong,i'm from cork and would love to see them win but its just not sitting right with me that were fav's this yr. was it last years run ,this years league or Kerry's loss of a few players???

tough to see passed cork alright. i think tyrone could come into form come the championship and will be in with a shout. don't think kerry can do it again. dublin / mayo and others just dont cut it against the big 3 come the championship, but ya never know. tough to call but you'd have to side with cork although the price is a bit short to have a bet on me thinks

heres the blog i got, know the lad that writes it and he knows his onions. Told me Cork are the closest thing you'll get to a sure thing

    Blog

the ulster championship is really the best for having a bet now, its so open. Donegal man myself but can see Down knocking us out in first round, no confidence at all and down have been playing superb this season.

Tyrone are worth taking on at the price imo. think the winner will come from the Derry/armagh match but that is so hard to call right now

I gave a quick run through this on the GAA section ( who will win Sam ) ,
in a nutshell I think Cork are the likliest winners , but given their problems with Kingdom in the latter stages , while it's a fair price they don't represent massive value either .
I had a few quid on Armagh at 40/1 for the AI , and 10/1 for Ulster before the D2 final , and hopefully if Clarke returns ok and remains injury free
they might still be kicking ball at the business end , though that being said they have a tough date against Derry on Sunday .

backed down a few weeks ago for ulster at 13-2

should of doubled them up with cork.

carlow are a nice price to beat wicklow on sunday.7-2 in some places.

    Cork for Munster 10-11
    Dublin for Leinster 6-5

and ones from Ladbrokes which are interesting

Dublin to meet Kildare in the Leinster Final @ 6-4
Considering Kildare are second favs for Leinster and are in a handy side with only Louth and Westmeath in it surely this looks good.

Cork to play Limerick in the Munster Final @ 15-8

Carlow should have a very strong midfield partnership in Thomas Walsh and Brendan Murphy and will need to get the upperhand there as Wicklow have the more dangerous forwards .

I reckon the Ulster Football Championship is wide open this year and i have a feeling that Monaghan will win their 1st Ulster Championship since 1988 this year. As for Sam Maguire i'd like to think my home county Cork will win Sam but with Kerry around i'd never be very confident!
