Hey, couple of weeks ago, i called in a guy who scraps cars for free.

He took the plates off the car, and left them to me, and took the car.

Should i unregister the car or something?

You sure this chap was legit?

If not your car could be driving around on new plates now.

when i scrapped a car recently, i handed over the log book, and received a scrappage cert for it, which i then submitted to the local tax office.

if you havent received a scrappage cert.. i'd send the log book back to the tax office / shannon
