Reverse Panorama

Hi Folks,

I was hoping someone on this forum might be able to provide me with an answer to this question, is there a way to do panorama in reverse.

To clarify at the moment you an create a static and video panorama using specialised hardware and software to create a 360deg view around a point. But is there a way to do this in reverse, so that instead of seeing the panorama from the inside to out (from the camera perspective outward) you can create a panorama from the ouside in. At the moment I am using 4 perspectives / 4 synchronised video's (front, left, right, rear) to show off something functioning. Is there a way to combine these video sources so that you can do the standard pan, zoom, tilt functionality of a panorama.

Sorry if the description is a bit flaky but I hope you get what Im trying to ask. If you need any clarification I will try my best to answer. I know that you can get machines that create a 3D Interactive model of products, as in you put the product in the machine and then it rotates around it taking pictures/scanning then compiles a 3D representation of it. So I guess Im looking for something like that but on a larger scale.

So instead of shooting from a fixed position 360 deg,
you want to move outwards and shoot in a circle pointing inwards towards the centre ?

@Sunny2004 - You got it in one. Kind of like a multi row virtual object (the 3D virtual objects you see online) but for video. Although after a bit of research it seems that this is not possible :-(

Just in case anyone is curious it turns out that there is no commercial product on the market that currently does this.
