    Ok folks..

You have to admit that the world has been doing some pretty damn funky stuff over the last few months.

There seems to have been a disproportionately large number of natural disasters.

Do you think there is something to the Mayan end of the world theory?
At 11:11 am on December 21st 2012 are we all doomed to die in the most forewarned event ever?
Or will it just pass by un-noticed like all of the other end of the world deadlines.

Are you going to do anything special that day? "Just in case"....

Just in case it is the end, I think I'll probably text my friends and family telling them that it was fun while it lasted.

Then, I'm going to try go out while balls deep in the girl who's name I can't remember that I picked up at the work Christmas party the night before.
Maybe finish on a donkey punch... That'd be pretty funny..

    11:11am on December 21 2012, What's going to happen? 21 votes

Nothing.. It's all a pile of bunk. The Mayans just got lazy and didn't finish their callender.

I'm going to blow up digiweb. Just for the lulz. I want to take credit before some blasted volcano does.

If the world was actually going to end any time soon you could be sure the powers that control this planet would make sure that none of us ever found out until it actually happened.

A *real* end of the world date scenario would be quelled immeditately by the media and not be allowed to be thrown around casually like this 2012 nonsense.

If it's true, I hope to die a happy person, with the love of my life by my side :)

If the world does end I doubt it will be because of that Mayan calendar shíte tbh.

    Fuck them Mayans.
If they were any good they would have seen the Spanish coming.

Will the world end on the 31st of December 2010? that's when my calendar stops.

of course it won't. The next calendar starts on the 1st January 2011. Just like the Mayan long form calendar stopped on December 21st 2012 of the Gregorian calendar. It would have rolled into a new one after that date.

    Quiet you...
I didn't see any of the other threads.

And the thought that one of my thread ideas isn't original...
Well that's just preposterous, so there was no point in searching.

The Mayans never predicted the end of the world.

I'm pretty sure I can retro fit my zombie survival plan to suit this scenario as well.

lets take earthquakes in isolation, nothing disproportionately large about this years number http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eqarchives/year/eqstats.php

Methinks the armageddon theories will begin to quiet down now that the headshops are closed. That's what happened to their original civilisation, Harney banned those little yellow frogs so they all sailed to Holland, stopping off in Easter Island for pure devilment ...
