Watts is no indication of loudness, so one can't tell from those specs how loud it would be. Only way would be to try it out.

The specs for this dock do include the actual loudness in decibles, so if they are accurate, one can say it would be about as loud as a lawnmower:

Klipsch is a reputable speaker manufacturer and the igroove has good reviews if you care to do a search.

Thanks a lot for your help, much appreciated.

I got the Lenco in the end as I wasn't bothered waiting on online purchasing, etc. The sound quality is very, very good. The house bounces on full whack :)

    Cheers
