Summons details?

In January I was stopped for using the phone while driving, it was my daughters school calling which is the only reason I answered. I pulled off from the lights just as I was hanging up and sure enough I was pulled over. I paid the fine a month later but forgot to produce my insurance at the barracks. We were in the middle of changing insurance companies at the time I was stopped and the certificate hadn't arrived.

I have the letter which proves that I was insured at the time but because I didn't produce I have been summoned.

However the details in the summons are in correct. The street name on which I was stopped. Could this technicality help me avoid another fine? Also I'm being summoned for not having insurance which I did just not displayed!

    Cheers
