    Hi all,

I downloaded an album to my iphone a couple of weeks ago. I was then trying to transfer it to itunes on my mac but was unable to do so. Can you not just copy and paste?

Do you sync or is there an easier way?

    Thanks for any help.

    Al.

Just sync the phone. The albulm should show up in itunes afterwards.

Thanks Funk. I'll have a look later.

When you sync though does it not try to transfer all the music from Itunes to the phone?

I dont want to do this as I've too much music in Itunes and I dont want itunes to sync a selection of albums. The albums I have on my iphone I want to keep there.

Use the sync only checked items option. It'll only sync what you want.

You've read the question wrong I think.

To get music from your phone back onto your PC and into iTunes you need to use a searate software program.

Sharepod is the best one I've used - it's free and very simple to use. Just google it.

if you bought it on the iphone, the easiest way to get it into itunes is to:
    select File
    Transfer purchases from Iphone

    within itunes
