Help...trying to source a VAG AWT engine..

    ..a colleague is struggling to find the above, for his 01 1.8t Passat SE.

    Engine code is AWT , and apparently isn't that easy to find. We've tried the usual sources, with no luck, and trying to avoid having to go to the UK. If you can help, post here or PM me, thanks.

    Did you try Traynors in the north? They might be your biggest chance, as they are one of the biggest car dismantlers in the UK, afaik.

    Ahem yourself: that's not an AWT engine, and........the engine has a problem ? So, how does buying a fubar engine help me ? :confused:

    Did you try Traynors as was suggested to you in the first place?

    DubDani is correct in saying that they are your best chance on this island.

    Otherwise, its a case of getting a golden pages and phoning all the breakers yards up in the hope of picking up the right engine...OR...trying breakers yards in the UK. Many if not most ship to Ireland.

    If you dont like JJJJNR's suggestion...ignore him! ;-)
