"Drivers in Switzerland who spot a winged man dressed in white at the side of the road shouldn't be alarmed – it’s not a vision, it’s a guardian angel.
Police in the state of Fribourg have hired the professional actor to deter motorists from speeding. The ‘road angel’, who forms part of a safe-driving campaign, will wave and flap his wings at motorists travelling too fast".

If they hired this guy in Ireland eggs would be thrown at him.

An angel wearing a rumpled white jacket and trousers, with a dark brown wig that looks like something bought from the gardening section of Homebase, and sporting a 'tache and beard? If that's what angels look like I sure ain't going near Heaven when I die. I wouldn't want to find him standing behind me:p

We have guardian angels here anyway. They are called "scobes" and stroll out into traffic with their tracksuits tucked into their socks.
