    Heya

My friend has had her iPhone about 2 weeks and all of a sudden on Saturday, with nearly full battery, it switched itself off and wouldn't come back on.

Then about 12 hours later it switched on. Yesterday it did they same thing - just completely dies for a few hours and will not turn on.

Is this a known problem with the iPhone or could this particular one be faulty? Could it be the software or the battery?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You could try and do a restore and see does it help. If it's the same afterwards bring it back. It's in warranty...

You could also try a soft reset. To do this just hold the home key and the lock and the power/lock key until the screen goes blank. It will restart then. If that doesn't sort it call apple.

Soft reset will fix that, no reason why it wouldnt.

Power and home at the same time till you see the apple logo
